Dan Schkade In-Store Appearance

The multi-talented DAN SCHKADE will visit Comic Book University on Wednesday, September 13 from 11 am to 5 pm for the release of SAINT JOHN #1.

In partnership with groundbreaking clothing brand, Portland Gear, Dark Horse Comics is proud to present the Rose City’s very own super-hero, Saint John! Cynical Manhattan writer Tori Slate travels to Portland, Oregon, to track down the enigmatic Saint John, a masked man who roams the city doing good deeds for strangers, appearing at random and vanishing without a trace. Who is he? Why does he do it? And what is his seemingly supernatural connection to the City of Roses? Tori aims to put these questions to the man himself… unaware that the answers will change her life forever.

Dan Schkade is a freelance cartoonist from Austin, Texas. His credits include the Eisner + Ringo Award-Nominated Webtoon series Lavender Jack, Will Eisner’s The Spirit Returns, San Hannibal, and The Private Files of The Fowl, among others.

Dan will sign autographs and be available to do original, one-of-a-kind sketches.
